Salesforce owns the weights.

Koa launched Tuesday, post-trained on Nvidia’s open-weight Nemotron-3 Super-120B model.

Salesforce says Koa either matches or beats leading models on CRM actions. And the inference stays inside its own boundary.

But get this..while Koa's training data is synthetic, it's modelled on 27 years of Salesforce deployments across 14 industries. Benioff captured it best when he plainly said, "The most valuable thing Salesforce has built isn't our platform, it's the accumulated knowledge of how enterprises actually work."

Accumulated. From inside your operation. Salesforce has kissed the frontier goodbye. But you’re still renting Salesforce. The shape of your data is the asset.

The line that "No customer data was used" is true. That statement protects your data, but it doesn't protect the way your business runs. And the way your business operates is what 27 years of watching companies has produced for Salesforce.

Yes, your data stayed put. But your operational DNA didn't.

The move by Salesforce isn't anything exotic. An open-weight model, running in your own tenancy, with an agentic layer you own sitting on top. Swap the model whenever the frontier moves. Your prompts, workflows and your institutional knowledge never leave.

Platforms like New Dialogue are the harness to assist mid-market and enterprise working in regulated industries to achieve the same outcomes.

Salesforce spent 27 years learning how its customers operate. Right now, it's the one holding the only copy.
